Carelabs Subsidiary Goodoc Begins Full-Scale Supply of COVID-19 Self-Test Kits
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Carelabs subsidiary Goodoc (CEO Park Kyungdeuk, Im Jinseok) announced on the 13th that it will supply self-test kits through its own online mall, 'Goodoc Store.'
The self-test kits sold at Goodoc Store are the same products that have received conditional approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and are distributed in pharmacies nationwide. The self-test kits allow users to confirm COVID-19 infection status within 15 minutes with a simple test at home without visiting screening clinics or using special equipment.
Park Kyungdeuk, CEO of Goodoc, said, "Just as we proactively responded to the mask shortage during last year's COVID-19 pandemic by distributing masks that were difficult to obtain in the market, we aimed to immediately secure the supply of self-test kits approved conditionally by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety to provide consumers with a safe and convenient supply environment." He added, "As Goodoc holds the position of the number one non-face-to-face healthcare platform operator in Korea, we plan to continuously contribute to expanding the distribution of masks, self-test kits, and other products to achieve 'herd immunity' by responding promptly to the COVID-19 situation."
