[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Home&Shopping announced on the 11th that it has revamped its mobile application (app) to enhance shopping convenience for its existing target customers in their 40s and 50s.
With this revamp, the app has strengthened ▲ specialized sections by category such as food, fashion, and living ▲ themed sections where customers can view seasonal and trend-based shopping issues at a glance ▲ brand sections that gather recommended brands ▲ and a time deal-exclusive 'Today Pick'. Home&Shopping explained that this allows customers to have a wider selection of products and easily check various promotional events.
Home&Shopping also revamped the app to enable simultaneous viewing of TV live broadcasts and live commerce 'Pang Live'. To provide a familiar user environment for the 20s and 30s MZ generation, a feature was added to easily check live commerce broadcast schedules. To preserve the core identity of TV home shopping and allow convenient purchase of upcoming broadcast products, sections such as 'Early TV' and 'Top 10 Broadcast Alerts' were added.
Before the revamp, Home&Shopping conducted usability tests by age and gender to reflect customer requirements in the app. After completing the app revamp, it also received feedback from internal and external monitoring.
