Hanon Systems Acquires Keihin's European and North American Condenser Business
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Hanon Systems announced on the 10th that it completed the acquisition of Keihin Japan's Europe and North America condenser business on the 7th.
The company explained that this acquisition is a measure to strengthen market influence as the global automotive market is rapidly shifting to eco-friendly vehicles, highlighting the importance of automotive thermal management. The condenser plays a crucial role as a heat exchanger in thermal management for all vehicles, from internal combustion engine cars to eco-friendly vehicles.
Accordingly, about 500 employees, including those from the condenser businesses in Kladno, Czech Republic, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and parts of the United States, will be integrated into Hanon Systems. Through this acquisition, Hanon Systems plans to further strengthen the portfolio of its key business division, the condenser.
