Israeli Foreign and Economy Ministers to Visit Korea from 10th to 13th
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] Israel's Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi and Minister of Economy Amir Peretz will visit Korea from the 10th to the 13th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 9th.
During this visit, the Korea-Israel Foreign Ministers' Meeting, a meeting between the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Chief Negotiator for Trade, and a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signing ceremony are scheduled to take place.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expects this visit to serve as an opportunity to strengthen high-level communication and deepen friendly cooperative relations between the two countries ahead of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year.

Foreign Minister Chung Eui-yong and Minister Ashkenazi held a phone call last March, during which they discussed sharing vaccination experiences and cooperation measures for COVID-19 response, including vaccine technology development.
