30s Police Officer Diagnosed with 'Cerebral Hemorrhage' After AZ Vaccine 'Adverse Reaction'
Showing Symptoms of 'Limb Numbness, Sensory and Memory Decline'
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] A police officer in his 30s showed abnormal reaction symptoms after receiving the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine and was diagnosed with 'cerebral hemorrhage' after a detailed examination.
According to Chuncheon City Public Health Center on the 9th, Lieutenant A, affiliated with the Gangwon Police Agency, showed numbness and sensory impairment in both thigh legs after receiving the AZ vaccine on the 29th of last month.
Lieutenant A was diagnosed with 'intracerebral hemorrhage of unspecified detail' by a university hospital the day before (the 8th) regarding his symptoms. He had no underlying diseases when he received the vaccine, and causality with the vaccination was not specified.
Lieutenant A must take medication to improve brain function and regularly undergo magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, and it is reported that he currently complains of dizziness and numbness in the limbs, as well as experiencing short-term memory decline.
