According to the Jeju Maritime Police Station, at around 6:15 a.m. on the 8th, driver A, who was heavily intoxicated, fell into the sea along with the passenger car at the harbor in Samyangsam-dong, Jeju City. However, A managed to get out on his own and was transferred to a city hospital. The vehicle was lifted onto land using a crane.
Friend B, who first reported the accident, was on a video call with driver A when suddenly the sound of the accelerator being pressed was heard, followed by footage of the car falling into the sea, prompting B to report to the Jeju Maritime Police.

The Jeju Maritime Police confirmed that driver A's blood alcohol concentration was 0.136% and plan to conduct a detailed investigation into the circumstances of the accident as soon as A is discharged from the hospital.
