Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station Conducts Customized Training for 'Apartment Fire Safety Leaders'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Im Jongbok) announced on the 7th that it conducted customized training to cultivate 'Fire Safety Leaders in Apartment Complexes.'
Apartment complexes have a structural characteristic where if a fire occurs in one household, it spreads to nearby units, causing multiple casualties and significant property damage.
The training, which will continue until October, targets apartment complex management office staff and resident representatives.
The purpose of the training is to prevent fires in apartment complexes and to cultivate private fire safety leaders to strengthen initial response capabilities before the fire department arrives in case of a fire.
The main training contents include ▲fire evacuation methods ▲use of fire-fighting and evacuation facilities ▲prohibition of parking in fire truck exclusive zones, among others.
