Gwangju Chamber of Commerce to Hold Practical Export-Import Customs Training on the 13th for FTA Utilization
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Gwangju Regional FTA Utilization Support Center, operated by the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will hold a 'Practical Training on Export-Import Customs Clearance for FTA Utilization' on the 13th for about 20 export managers from local companies to improve their FTA utilization and response capabilities.
According to the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce on the 7th, this training will be conducted for 7 hours covering ▲Overview of export-import practices ▲Overview of FTA and product classification ▲Criteria for determining origin and FTA certificate of origin ▲Certified exporter of origin ▲FTA application and origin verification, to meet the steady demand for education on export-import customs clearance.
The training will be conducted online due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19 regional infections.
By attending the training, export managers can improve not only their basic knowledge of export-import customs clearance but also practical skills such as document preparation. Upon completion, they can earn '8 points for certified exporters,' which is expected to be of great help to companies preparing to acquire certified exporter status for origin certification.
