Jungjingong and Sangi University Join Hands to Support SMEs in Siwha Smart Green Industrial Complex
MOU for Supporting Growth of Local SMEs and Promoting Industry-Academia Cooperation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 7th that it will sign a business agreement with Korea Polytechnic University (President Park Geon-su, hereinafter referred to as KPU) to support the growth of excellent small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the region, including Siwha Smart Green Industrial Complex, and to revitalize industry-academia cooperation.
The two organizations will specifically strengthen mutual cooperation in ▲ linking SBC support policies for excellent local SMEs such as KPU family companies ▲ startup support for young entrepreneurs in the region ▲ joint utilization of facilities and equipment owned by both organizations and joint R&D projects such as technology transfer ▲ personnel exchange to expand SME support and industry-academia cooperation.
With 42 years of experience supporting small and medium ventures, SBC possesses various SME support tools such as policy funds and export marketing, enabling customized support at each stage of company growth from startup to unicorn company. Through this agreement, it is expected that combining SBC’s corporate support capabilities with KPU’s field-oriented technical workforce training infrastructure will lead to the advancement of SMEs in the Siwha Smart Green Industrial Complex and the revitalization of the regional economy.
