Parents' Day Celebration... 20 Sets of Side Dishes and Rice Cakes Delivered to Foundation on 4th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Singer Lee Sun-hee's official website, Daum Cafe LeeSunhee.com official community, and agricultural corporation Matjeong delivered support items (20 sets of food supplies and rice cakes) for elderly living alone to Yongsan Welfare Foundation (Chairman Lee Sang-yong) on the 4th.
This was to express gratitude and respect to local elderly residents in celebration of Parents' Day.
At the delivery ceremony, members of Lee Sun-hee fan clubs from Changwon, Daegu, Matjeong, and Yongsan Welfare Foundation officials attended.
The foundation plans to distribute the donated items to households of elderly living alone in the area.
Since her debut, singer Lee Sun-hee has been a model of sharing by consistently practicing good deeds such as helping children with heart disease and supporting child-headed households.
The Lee Sun-hee fan club has also been conducting various donations and volunteer activities in line with the singer's efforts, and last September signed a donation agreement for holiday gifts with Matjeong and Yongsan Welfare Foundation.
A fan club official stated, “To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Lee Sun-hee's official website, we revamped the website,” and added, “We want to share this joy with the elderly in Yongsan-gu.”
