Changwon City "Apply for COVID-19 Living Expenses Starting from the 10th"
On-site registration is from the 17th to June 4th at Eup, Myeon, and Dong offices
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam announced on the 6th that it will promote a temporary livelihood support project targeting low-income crisis households that do not receive benefits from existing welfare systems or COVID-19 damage support programs.
The support target is low-income households that have experienced a crisis such as income reduction but have not received COVID-19 damage support.
The target households are those whose total household income is 75% or less of the median income standard (4-person household, 3,657,218 KRW) and whose property is 350 million KRW or less, and whose current income (January to May 2021) has decreased. Applications can be made online or on-site at Eup, Myeon, and Dong offices. Online applications can be accessed via Bokjiro or mobile.
The application period is from the 10th to 28th until 22:00, and only the head of the household can apply. Online applications operate on an odd-even system based on the last digit of the household head’s birth year.
On-site applications can be made from the 17th to June 4th until 18:00 (weekends not available) at the resident registration offices in Eup, Myeon, and Dong administrative welfare centers by the household head, household members of the same household, or a proxy. Proof of income reduction is documentation that confirms a decrease in recent income (January to May 2021) compared to 2019 and 2020.
