On the 4th, Dongguk University held a commemorative ceremony and presented awards such as the Long Service Award, Dongguk Academic Award, Outstanding Researcher Award, Graduate School Academic Award, Merit Award, Proud Dongguk Buddhist Award, and Dongguk Family Award.
Yoon Sung-yi, president of Dongguk University, said in his commemorative speech, “Our university, which started with a small scale of about 50 students, has grown into a proud national university that has produced 350,000 alumni,” and added, “Although the future is unpredictable due to the global pandemic caused by COVID-19, let us overcome it with an indomitable spirit of challenge.”
