[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Coway announced on the 3rd that it will newly launch the Glam series in four colors with selectable color options, riding on the popularity of the Icon water purifier.

According to Coway, the newly applied colors for the Icon water purifier are the sophisticated △Bronze Pink △Mint Green △Mineral Blue △Midnight Navy. Following the existing Natural series of three types (Ricotta White, Oatmeal Beige, Truffle Silver), the company expanded consumer choices by adding the fresh-colored Glam series with four color lineups.

The newly introduced colors were selected reflecting recent interior appliance trends and the preferences of the millennial generation. The Coway Icon water purifier Glam series can be used as a point product that brings vitality to kitchen interiors, adding a stylish kitchen space with fresh colors and sparkling light effects.

Launched in October last year, the Coway Icon water purifier has gained steady popularity among consumers due to its compact design significantly reduced in size by innovative cooling technology, low noise technology, and optional management services.

In particular, the Icon water purifier reduced product noise through innovative compressor-free cooling technology, becoming the first water purifier to receive the ‘Quiet Mark’ awarded by the UK Noise Abatement Society. Coway also explained that it has been recognized for its technological and design excellence by winning the 2020 Japan Good Design and 2020 PIN UP Design Awards.

A Coway official said, “With the recent popularity of interior appliances and consumer demand for point color products matching kitchen interiors, we decided to introduce this Glam series.”
