JAYJUN "DRC Healthcare Targets Beauty Medical Device Market... Opens Flagship Store"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] DRC Healthcare, a subsidiary of Jayjun Cosmetic, announced on the 3rd that it has officially opened a flagship store dedicated to beauty medical devices and beauty equipment in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul.
Through the opening of this flagship store, DRC Healthcare plans to use the space as a place where domestic and international hospital and clinic officials can directly experience newly developed beauty devices such as ‘Duclair’ and ‘Hydro Alpha’. ‘Duclair’ is a skin pore cleansing device acquired by DRC Healthcare in October last year and is currently being supplied to the Nasdaq-listed company ‘Venus Concept’.
The flagship store also provides a communication space where hospital and clinic officials can hold seminars and study sessions, which is expected to strengthen networking with medical professionals.
DRC Healthcare is actively developing new beauty medical devices and plans to sequentially launch a radiofrequency device in the third quarter and laser and ultrasound devices in the fourth quarter, starting with the opening of this flagship store. The upcoming laser device has been enhanced in performance and significantly reduced in size and weight to improve usability for practitioners, reflecting market needs.
A DRC Healthcare representative said, “We established this flagship store to respond more swiftly to the rapidly changing domestic and international beauty device markets and to become a market-leading company. Since the store provides not only product introductions but also a space friendly to current hospital and clinic professionals, it will greatly help future new product development and sales through close listening and active reflection of opinions.”
He added, “We are currently focusing all our capabilities on the new products scheduled for release in the third and fourth quarters of this year. The newly developed devices will become new growth engines for DRC Healthcare.”
