View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunjin Jeong] Hanwha Aerospace announced on the 3rd that it held an event called 'Making Upcycled Dolls to Save the Ocean' and donated 400 dolls made from waste plastic materials discarded in the ocean to local children's centers.
The event was conducted by Hanwha Aerospace purchasing materials such as fabric and cotton made from recycled waste plastic, and employees from nationwide business sites in Changwon, Asan, and Pangyo who wished to participate made dolls of sea lions, turtles, and whales together with their families. Afterwards, Hanwha Aerospace delivered the dolls to children ahead of Children's Day through local children's centers near the Pangyo site on the 27th of last month, Asan on the 29th, and Changwon on the 30th.
