View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dobong-gu (Mayor Lee Dong-jin) has been selected for the '2021 Resident Technology School Project' promoted by Seoul City for the second consecutive year and will operate the 'Resident Technology School' again this year.
This is the result of overall recognition of Dobong-gu's project purpose suitability, resource adequacy, and sustainability.
The 'Resident Technology School Project' is a program aimed at local residents that provides technical education based on daily life demands such as ▲home repair ▲care ▲upcycling, establishes local management enterprises within the community, and fosters a virtuous cycle social economy ecosystem through solving local problems, restoring community, and creating jobs.
Last year, considering regional characteristics such as urban regeneration areas and aging housing, the district promoted home repair education focusing on wallpapering and painting, as well as landscaping and horticulture education for alleyway environment maintenance.
The 2021 Resident Technology School will operate in two fields, ▲home repair and ▲landscaping/horticulture, continuing from last year.
This year, for graduates of each field from last year's Resident Technology School, the program plans to provide advanced technical education, certification acquisition training, and field practice linked with social economy enterprises, while supporting the establishment of local management enterprises through startup consulting.
