[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Lotte Department Store Gwangju Branch is showcasing bread made from potatoes at the central plaza on the basement first floor. The potato bread is a product developed over two years by the second generation of potato farmers in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. The bread is made without using flour, instead mashing whole Rose Hong potatoes from Gangwon Province, kneading the dough with potato starch and rice flour, and coating it with domestic soybean powder and black sesame powder. The inside is savory and soft, while the outside has a chewy texture.
