An 80-Year-Old Driver's Car Crashes into a Beauty Salon in Seocho-gu, Seoul... One Customer Dead
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A car driven by an man in his 80s crashed into a hair salon, resulting in the death of one customer and injuries to employees.
Seoul Seocho Police Station announced on the 30th that they have booked Mr. A (82) for violating the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling.
According to the police, at around 11:22 a.m. that day, the car driven by Mr. A hit three motorcycles and one vehicle parked in an alley before crashing into a nearby hair salon. It was investigated that Mr. A was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
As a result of the accident, one customer inside the hair salon was trapped under the vehicle and died while being transported to the hospital. Two hair salon employees sustained injuries, including broken arms.
