Police Launch Investigation into Park Narae over Sexual Harassment Controversy in Web Variety Show
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] The police have launched an investigation into comedian Park Narae following a sexual harassment controversy that arose from her YouTube broadcast.
On the 30th, according to the police, the Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul is investigating a sexual harassment-related accusation made by Park on a web entertainment show.
The police received a complaint this month through the National Police Agency's online complaint system, requesting an investigation into Park on charges of illegal information distribution under the Information and Communications Network Act, and recently completed questioning the complainant.
Previously, Park caused controversy by making sexual remarks while introducing a male doll on the web entertainment show "Hey Narae," which airs on Studio Waffle, a YouTube channel launched by CJ ENM.

In the video, Park Narae changed the clothes of a male doll named "Armstrong Man," moved the doll's arm toward the groin area to form a genital shape, and made playful remarks. The production team made the video private and issued an official apology. Park Narae also submitted a handwritten apology letter.
