Changwon City Holds 'Spring of Hometown' Humanities Lecture at Seongsan Library
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City announced on the 30th that it will operate a humanities lecture titled 'Connecting Changwon's Literature - Stories of Our Neighborhood Literary Museums' at Seongsan Library.
Starting with the first topic in May, 'Spring in Hometown and Changwon,' the second topic 'The Life and Poetry of Poet Kim Daljin of Wolha,' and the third topic 'The Literary Tradition of Masan and the Formation of Modern Literature,' follow-up meetings will be held in June and September respectively.
The first topic lecture will be held three times every Wednesday from May 26 to June 9. It will explore the creative background of 'Spring in Hometown,' the life and works of writer Lee Wonsu, and include a field trip.
Applications for the first topic lecture can be made on a first-come, first-served basis from May 10 to 17 via the Seongsan Library website or by phone, and the tuition fee is free.

Director An Cheonmo of Seongsan Library said, "Through humanities lectures on the road, we will promote our local literature and literary museums and strive for the development of regional humanities centered on the library," and asked for active participation.
