Gwangju Gwangsan-gu, Recruiting Companies for Prototype Production Support Project Participation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 29th that it will recruit participating companies for the ‘2021 Gwangsan-gu Excellent Technology Prototype Production Support Project’ targeting small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners in the district until the 21st of next month.
Gwangsan-gu plans to select eight small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners whose headquarters are located in Gwangsan-gu by the middle of next month and support up to 80% (within 9 million KRW) of the prototype production costs.
When recruiting participating companies, additional points will be given based on G-SMART companies (companies contracted with the Gwangsan-gu Corporate Doctor Center from 2019 to 2020) and the company’s self-payment ratio (minimum 20%).

Applications can be submitted by visiting or mailing the prototype production participation application form and required documents such as company financial statements to the Gwangsan-gu Corporate Doctor Center.

Kim Sam-ho, Mayor of Gwangsan-gu, said, “This project was prepared to support small and medium-sized enterprises that have ideas but face difficulties in product production due to lack of manpower and cost burden,” and added, “We hope for active participation from companies that want to realize creative and excellent technologies as prototypes and commercialize them.”
