The Mokwon University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation announced on the 29th that it had been selected as the "2021 Small Business Capacity-Building Project Consulting Specialized Operating Institution," hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service.
The project focuses on consulting using management and technical experts to strengthen the business competitiveness of small business owners.
In particular, starting this year, the Small Enterprise and Market Service changed its method of directly selecting and managing consultants to designate and operate regional specialized operating institutions in a consortium format. The approach was changed from a nationwide integrated method to regional consulting to add more detail to the project.
For example, the Mokwon University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation formed a consortium with the Social Economy Research Institute to operate as a base in the Daejeon and Chungcheong regions.
Additionally, it plans to focus its project implementation capabilities on providing specialized consulting services such as advancing business models (BM) by industry for local small business owners, digital transformation, and safety investment and funding.
In particular, customized management improvement vouchers (coupons) of up to 2 million KRW per company will be supported according to the consulting, allowing small business owners in the Daejeon and Chungcheong regions to receive direct benefits and support.
