According to AP News and dpa News on the 28th (local time), local police responded to a report from the orthopedic Oberlin Clinic around 9 p.m. that day and found four deceased and one critically injured person at the scene. Police have arrested a 51-year-old woman as the prime suspect and are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
According to the Potsdam regional media 'Potsdamer Neueste Nachrichten,' the victims were hospital patients, and the detained suspect is reported to be a hospital employee.
The police stated, "We found serious external signs of violence on the victims."
