No Brand Burger Opens 100th Store at SSG Baseball Stadium
Plan to Open 180 Stores by the End of This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Shinsegae Food is opening the 100th No Brand Burger store at Incheon SSG Landers Field. According to Shinsegae Food on the 28th, the SSG Landers Field store will open on May 7 as the 100th No Brand Burger location. This comes 20 months after the first store opened in Hongdae in August 2019.
The No Brand Burger SSG Landers Field store is located next to the ticket booth on the first floor of the first base side at Incheon SSG Landers Field in Munhak-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon. Customers can dine inside the store by entering through the external entrance on the first base side of the baseball stadium, and can purchase menu items for takeout inside the stadium, making it a hybrid-type store. Unlike other No Brand Burger locations, new baseball stadium-exclusive packs such as the Landers Pack and Randy Pack have been introduced, allowing customers to enjoy hamburgers, chicken, potato chips, and drinks while watching the game.
Shinsegae Food plans to develop No Brand Burger into a leading domestic hamburger franchise. They aim to increase the number of No Brand Burger stores to 180 within this year. The strength of No Brand Burger lies in its cost-effectiveness. Prices range from 1,900 to 5,300 KRW for single items, and 3,900 to 6,900 KRW for sets (hamburger, fries, and drink). The signature menu item, NBB Signature, is priced at 3,500 KRW for a single item, about 1,000 KRW cheaper than similar cheeseburgers from other brands. The quality is also competitive, enhancing customer satisfaction. No Brand Burger differentiates itself by having patties that are 20% thicker than those of other brands, providing a unique texture.
