[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 28th that it has been included in the Carbon Management Honors Club for seven consecutive years in the 'CDP Climate Change' report published by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Korea Committee, becoming the first financial institution to enter the Hall of Fame for three consecutive years.
CDP is a global project that, on behalf of financial investment institutions worldwide, requests disclosure of information related to climate change issues from major listed and unlisted companies in each country, and publishes an annual report based on this information.
CDP, used as an investment guideline by financial institutions worldwide, is regarded as one of the most trusted global sustainability evaluation indices alongside the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) and the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations.
Since 2014, Shinhan Financial has achieved the highest grade, 'Leadership A,' for seven consecutive years, becoming the only domestic financial company to enter the 'CDP Hall of Fame' for three consecutive years.
