Gangneung City Launches Bid to Host '2026 ITS World Congress'
'2nd International Video Conference' Held... Participation of ITS Board Members from Asia-Pacific Region

[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Gangneung City will hold the 2nd ITS International Video Conference jointly with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 28th to attract the '2026 ITS World Congress'.
The city stated, "This conference, promoted as part of the World Congress attraction activities, will be attended by ITS board members from Hong Kong, Australia, and Thailand to discuss the current status of ITS promotion in each country and cooperation plans."
The city plans to emphasize the citizen capabilities demonstrated during the Olympics and the advantages of Gangneung as a tourist city, requesting support to become the host city of the ITS World Congress.
