Imsil-gun Seeks Path for Win-Win Cooperation with Stationed Military Units
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil County in Jeonbuk is exploring ways for mutual cooperation between the military and local units by supporting Imsil Love Gift Certificates when soldiers stationed in the county go on leave.
According to Imsil County on the 27th, since 2019, the county has been providing 2,000 won worth of Imsil Love Gift Certificates per soldier per outing to soldiers of units such as the 35th Infantry Division and the 6th Ammunition Depot, contributing to boosting soldiers' morale and revitalizing the local economy.
Starting this year, to further boost soldiers' morale and stimulate the local economy, it was decided to support 5,000 won per soldier per outing, but after negotiation, the amount was changed to 3,000 won.
In addition to supporting Imsil Love Gift Certificates, the county is making efforts for mutual cooperation between the military and local units by implementing support policies such as providing vehicles for soldiers on leave, organizing Imsil tours to boost exemplary soldiers' morale, and holding performances by the Pilbong Nongak Troupe during new recruit entrance and graduation ceremonies.
