"Population Growth Absolutely Necessary" Haman-gun Holds Discussion on New Population Growth Policies
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Haman-gun, Gyeongnam held a 'New Population Increase Policy Proposal Presentation and Discussion' at the county office on the 26th.
The discussion, chaired by Deputy County Mayor Jo Gyuho, was attended by over 30 department heads including directors, division and section chiefs, heads of affiliated institutions, and business office managers.
During the discussion, a total of 43 new population increase policy proposals were reviewed, including 19 in the childbirth encouragement sector, 16 in the population inflow promotion sector, 6 in the housing supply sector, and 2 in other system improvements.
Deputy County Mayor Jo said, "Population increase is essential for the county's continuous development and securing competitiveness," adding, "Since this is an issue that all departments must consider together, I hope everyone will do their best to discover and promote projects for population increase."
