Woori Bank Expands Introduction of 'Zero-Emission Eco-Friendly Electric Vehicles'
Goal to Transition All Commercial Vehicles to Eco-Friendly Vehicles by 2030
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Woori Bank announced on the 27th that it will switch its business vehicles used at major branch offices nationwide to eco-friendly electric vehicles by 2030 to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
Currently, Woori Bank's headquarters operates 17 electric vehicles and 8 electric vehicle charging stations, and it is promoting the introduction of electric vehicles and charging stations at 10 branch offices nationwide by June.
Woori Bank also participates in the Ministry of Environment-led "Korean-style Zero Emission Vehicle Transition (K-EV100)" campaign, publicly declaring to convert all business vehicles to electric and hydrogen vehicles by 2030, aiming to gradually increase the proportion of eco-friendly vehicles every year.
