[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Home&Shopping (CEO Kim Ok-chan) announced on the 27th that it will introduce a 'convenience store parcel service' to enhance customer shopping convenience. The convenience store parcel service is a service that entrusts parcels to over 30,000 CU and GS25 convenience stores nationwide for storage, allowing customers to pick them up at their preferred time. Recently, it has been rapidly spreading, gaining popularity among single-person households living alone, female customers who avoid visits from strangers, and customers who have experienced parcel loss.
Home&Shopping plans to implement the convenience store parcel service for products such as beauty and haircare, clothing, and fashion accessories, gradually expanding its scope. The service usage method is to designate the delivery address as a nearby CU or GS25 convenience store, such as home or workplace, when ordering a product. After the product arrives, a text message is sent, and customers can receive the parcel by showing the personal authentication message sent to their mobile phone to the store staff. Exchanges and returns can also be collected and received at convenience stores.

Since August last year, Home&Shopping has been providing a specialized delivery service called 'Morning Delivery' in cooperation with CJ Logistics, allowing customers to receive ordered products by the next morning. By using a dedicated delivery team, delivery time has been reduced by up to 30 hours, receiving positive responses from customers. A Home&Shopping official said, "With the introduction of the convenience store parcel service, customers will be able to receive ordered products at their preferred time and place, which is expected to increase customer satisfaction with delivery," adding, "We plan to continue expanding differentiated customer experiences through delivery services, products, and quality management that meet customer demands."
