Cyworld "ID Recovery and Dotori Refund Available from the 29th"
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Cyworld, which has announced its revival in May, will start the 'Find ID · Acorn Refund' service on the 29th.
According to Cyworld Z on the 26th, customers who previously had acorns can either get a cash refund or exchange them for double the amount of 'evolved acorns.'
At the time Cyworld suspended its service in October 2019, the number of members was about 11 million, and the acorn balance amounted to 3,849,960,000 KRW. The number of Cyworld members holding at least one acorn is 2,766,752.
Cyworld Z also announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding to develop blockchain services with MCI Foundation, a creator nurturing company.
Cyworld Z stated, "Considering MCI Foundation's know-how in content blockchain development and its reputation at the major exchange Bithumb, we signed a strategic partnership agreement."
According to the company, Cyworld Z's blockchain will be created as a mainnet, and there will be no public initial coin offering (ICO) sold to individuals.
