Paju-si to Crack Down on 'Unauthorized Abandoned Electric Kickboards' Starting May
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Paju City in Gyeonggi Province will crack down on electric scooters left unattended on sidewalks, roads, and crosswalk entry sections starting in May.
According to the city on the 26th, 13 zones where parking and stopping regulations apply have been designated as restricted areas. After the guidance period, violations will be subject to immediate forced collection and fines.
The targeted areas include the center of sidewalks, crosswalk entry and exit points, braille blocks, entrances to elevators for the mobility impaired, bus stops, building entrances and exits, and roadways.
