Korea Federation of SMEs Holds 'Joint Business Committee' Meeting... Exploring Cooperative Development Plans
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (KSMB) held the '1st Joint Business Committee Meeting' on the 26th at the KSMB headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.
The Joint Business Committee is one of the 28 industry and special committees operated by KSMB to provide advice on key issues related to discovering and promoting current issues faced by small and medium enterprises.
On this day, Yoon Young-bal, Chairman of the Korea Vending Machine Industry Cooperative, was appointed as the chairman of the Joint Business Committee.
Chairman Yoon and the 16 committee members will work together to seek ways to improve support systems for revitalizing cooperative joint businesses and to develop cooperatives by utilizing government support policies.

Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of KSMB, stated, "Since the 21st, small and medium enterprise cooperatives have been recognized as small and medium enterprises, enabling them to utilize various government and local government support policies." He added, "Please make efforts to discover and spread cases of utilizing government joint business policies so that cooperatives can take a keen interest and actively participate."
