Recruiting a Total of 40 Unemployed Residents with Caregiver Certificates by May 6... Employment Connection to Nearby Care Facilities After Practical Training Completion
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is operating the "Customized Employment Connection Job Project for Care Workers" to respond to the increased demand for care services due to COVID-19.
This project, prepared as part of the regional industry customized job creation project, is supported by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, where local governments and job-related organizations collaborate to discover and promote jobs suited to regional characteristics.
The district is collaborating with the local care institution "Social Cooperative Dounuri" to provide practical care training to care workers who are currently not employed, helping them connect to employment at nearby care institutions.
The participants are a total of 40 unemployed residents holding care worker certificates; residents who are enrolled in employment insurance or have business registration are excluded.
The first training session will be held from May 17, and the second from June 15, each with 20 participants for 40 hours, covering care service theory, administrative practice, and including field training hours.
Afterward, through one-on-one customized career counseling, participants will be connected to employment in their desired fields among various nearby care institutions.
Residents wishing to participate must fill out the application form posted on the Gwangjin-gu care website and submit it via email by May 6.
For more details, inquiries can be made to the Social Cooperative Dounuri.
