Asian Man in New York Critically Injured After Being Repeatedly Kicked in the Head

The New York Police Department is treating this as a hate crime and has deployed the hate crime unit to investigate the case.
A 13-second video released by the police on Twitter shows a man lying on the ground being repeatedly kicked in the head by someone.
The victim is a 61-year-old Asian man.
The police stated that the victim was attacked from behind around 8:20 PM on the 23rd, fell to the ground, and was then kicked multiple times in the head, currently in critical condition.
A bus driver found the man unconscious on the ground and reported it to the police. The victim was later transported to a hospital.
The victim testified that he was attacked from behind without any reason.
