Muan Hwangto Mudflat Land, Small Nature Bonsai Exhibition at Sea Park
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 23rd that from April to November, an outdoor exhibition titled "Small Nature to Meet at the Sea Park" is being held at the Bonsai Exhibition Hall Park within Muan Hwangto Mudflat Land.
The Bonsai Theme Exhibition Hall, which opened in 2018 to display bonsai works donated by the late Moon Hyeong-yeol, a native of the area, along with various bonsai tools and 1,000 related materials, features the history of bonsai, shaping techniques, bonsai tools, and beautifully aged bonsai works on permanent display.
Welcoming spring, the county is exhibiting over 130 bonsai pieces outdoors that had been kept in a greenhouse to protect them from the cold sea breeze during winter, providing tourists with a variety of sights.
Tourists can enjoy the natural charm conveyed by yew trees, crape myrtles, hornbeams, pines, and gardenias, which have preserved the compressed years over a long period, while gazing at the endlessly spreading clean mudflats of Muan.
