Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Supports School Uniforms for New Middle and High School Students in Uljin County for 5 Consecutive Years

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Park Beom-su) signed an agreement on the 22nd with Uljin Office of Education to support school uniforms for new middle and high school students in 2021.
Hanul Nuclear Power Plant, which started the new student school uniform support project in the Uljin-gun area in 2017, initially provided 90% of the purchase cost for the first two years, and thanks to the enthusiastic response from local parents, expanded the support to 100% full coverage from 2019.
The target is all new students entering middle and high schools in the Uljin area. The cumulative number of beneficiaries supported until last year is a total of 3,272. This year, with a budget of 330 million KRW, school uniforms worth about 380,000 KRW each, consisting of one set of winter and summer uniforms, will be sponsored for 395 middle school students and 445 high school students.
Thirteen middle and high schools located in Uljin-gun jointly purchase uniforms supported by Hanul Headquarters and then deliver them in kind to the incoming students. Students who have newly transferred to Uljin-gun can also receive support.
