Interpark Opens Online Contactless Art Museum 'Intact Gallery'
The First Exhibition is the Henri Matisse Special Exhibition... Permanently Open
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheolhyun] Interpark announced on the 21st that it has launched a non-face-to-face exhibition viewing service called 'Intact Gallery,' which recreates the feeling of visiting an actual exhibition space in an online environment. The first exhibition in Intact Gallery is the 'Henri Matisse Special Exhibition,' which faithfully transferred the space and artworks from the exhibition held at My Art Museum in Samseong-dong until the 4th.
The Henri Matisse Special Exhibition online viewing is available at all times and can be accessed on any device capable of web browsing, including desktops, tablets, and mobiles. Intact Gallery provides floor plans and three-dimensional views of the space, allowing users to intuitively check the overall layout by rotating, zooming in, and zooming out. Additionally, an index by space is provided so visitors can directly navigate to their desired location. Clicking on the corners of the frames reveals the dimensions of the paintings, and supplementary content related to the artworks, such as descriptions, videos, images, and URLs, can also be viewed.
Various art galleries are also holding free exhibitions within Intact Gallery. Nine galleries, including Date Gallery, Seongwon Art Gallery, and Gallery Mare, are participating, and the artworks and spaces currently exhibited at each gallery have been faithfully transferred online. In the future, the service will be expanded to allow online purchases of artworks sold by the galleries. It is expected that emerging artists will be able to more easily introduce and sell their works to the public through Intact Gallery.

Lee Choongwoo, head of Interpark's Exhibition Business Team, said, "By applying spatial scanning technology to art content and building infrastructure for online viewing, we planned this service to create a new channel for appreciating art in the post-COVID era." He added, "We hope this platform will lower the threshold for art galleries and allow emerging artists to introduce and sell their works to the public at a low cost."
