Dongdaemun-gu Education Vision Center Produces and Releases Online 'Filling Thoughts Humanities - Law Edition'... Offers Quarterly Lectures on Various Topics to Foster Talent in the Global Era
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) will sequentially release online humanities lectures by April 22 to help teenagers grow into healthy democratic citizens.
The humanities lecture being released this time is "Filling Thoughts Humanities, Law Edition," which will be available on YouTube and the Education Vision Center website.
Dongdaemun-gu Education Vision Center operates the "Filling Thoughts Humanities" series quarterly to equip future talents with global era competencies.
This "Law Edition" is newly released following the "Media Literacy Edition," "Philosophy Edition," and "Economics Edition."
"Filling Thoughts Humanities, Law Edition" consists of four topics: ▲ Teenagers Become the Owners of the Constitution! ▲ Law in Daily Life ▲ From Hatred to Humanity ▲ Do Animals Have Rights?
The lectures will be released online one per day at 10 a.m. from the 19th to the 22nd.
Anyone, including parents and students, can freely watch on the YouTube channels (Dongdaemun-gu Education Vision Center, DBS Dongdaemun-gu Office Internet Broadcasting) and the Dongdaemun-gu Education Vision Center website.
Yoo Deok-yeol, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, said, "Through this humanities series 'Law Edition,' I hope teenagers understand the law and exercise their correct legal rights and duties," adding, "We will continue to support humanities education content so that students preparing for the future society can experience both the joy and benefits of learning by providing customized educational content."
Since 2011, Dongdaemun-gu Education Vision Center has been offering various psychological tests, interpretation counseling, and career counseling consulting free of charge to help reduce learning gaps for local elementary school 4th graders through middle and high school students.
