677 New COVID-19 Cases Nationwide by 9 PM... 200 More Than Yesterday
The spread of COVID-19 continues in South Korea. According to health authorities, Seoul city, and other local governments on the 20th, from midnight to 9 p.m. nationwide, 677 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported. This is 200 more than the 477 cases recorded during the same time on the previous day.
Of the confirmed cases, 445 (65.7%) were from the Seoul metropolitan area, and 232 (34.3%) were from non-metropolitan areas. By city and province, the numbers are: Gyeonggi 221, Seoul 210, Ulsan 40, Gyeongnam 37, Busan 30, Daegu 22, Chungbuk 20, Gwangju, Daejeon, and Gyeongbuk each 16, Gangwon 15, Incheon 14, Chungnam 8, Jeonbuk 7, Jeonnam 4, and Jeju 1.
