[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The 7th Bucheon National B-boy Competition will be live-streamed online from 6 PM on the 24th.
Hosted by Bucheon City, Gyeonggi Province, and organized by the B-boy team 'Jinjo Crew,' this competition will be held without preliminary rounds to comply with quarantine guidelines, inviting representative B-boy teams from each region and emerging new talents.
The competition features three categories: B-boy 2-on-2 battles, B-girl 1-on-1 battles, and Kids 1-on-1 battles. The final championship team will be decided through a knockout tournament starting at 6 PM on the day of the event. Notably, this year a new Kids 1-on-1 B-boy battle category has been added to foster young talent.
There will also be celebratory performances by 'WILD CREW,' who won the All-Genre Performance Popularity Award at the 2018 Bucheon World B-boy Championship (BBIC), and 'Liberty Crew,' active in various broadcasts and performances.
Meanwhile, with breaking being adopted as an official event for the 2024 Paris Olympics, this competition is expected to become a stage for B-boys and B-girls nationwide to challenge for gold medals.
