The advisory group consists of 12 members, including Professor Park Ki-soo of Preventive Medicine at the National Gyeongsang University, Kim Seon-joo, Head of the Gyeongsangnam-do Infectious Disease Management Support Group, and Choi Hong-taek, President of the Hamyang Medical Association.
The advisory group will serve as a permanent advisory body to provide consultation on all aspects of quarantine management for the Hamyang Sansam Anti-Aging Expo.
Since the Expo Organizing Committee formed the advisory group with experts in the field of quarantine, it plans to consult frequently and reflect opinions regarding the safe hosting of the Expo and the response to the spread of infections in the local community.
At the quarantine advisory group meeting held that day, the progress of the Expo's response to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was shared.
The meeting provided an in-depth discussion on quarantine measures to block infectious diseases, including the establishment of an organization and reporting system to prepare for infectious disease outbreaks centered on the Organizing Committee, the agency in charge, and event stakeholders, development of non-face-to-face content, a pre-reservation system for visitors, and operation of quarantine management booths at each entrance gate.
The Expo Organizing Committee plans to carefully review the proposals suggested at this advisory group meeting and actively reflect them in the ongoing quarantine preparation tasks for the Expo.
