Chungnam Provides Up to 6 Million KRW in Logistics Support for Small and Medium Export Companies
[Asia Economy (Hongseong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Chungnam Province will provide up to 6 million KRW in logistics costs to small and medium export companies within the region.
The province announced on the 19th that it is recruiting participating companies for the "2021 Small and Medium Enterprise Export Logistics Cost Support Project" until the 30th of this month.
The support project targets small and medium manufacturing companies headquartered or with factories in Chungnam that export products. The export logistics cost support will continue until international logistics freight stabilizes.
Previously, the province temporarily conducted the same project last year, supporting 30 companies with a total budget of 160 million KRW, achieving an export support effect worth approximately 7.9 billion KRW.
Accordingly, the province plans to maintain the support project this year to stabilize the management of local export companies and enhance the price competitiveness of export products.
The support items include sea freight, air freight, domestic and international inland transportation costs, and storage fees.
For more detailed information on applying for the support project, please check the "Chungnam Online Export Support System" or the websites of the province and the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency.
The province will select the final support recipients after considering various factors such as the individual scale of the applying companies and then provide the support funds.
