Daeyu Plus Hits Upper Limit Following Electric Vehicle Charging Business Entry News
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Daeyu Plus surged to the daily price limit (30%) on the KOSPI market on the 19th following news of its entry into the electric vehicle charging business, hitting a new 52-week high.
Daeyu Plus was trading at 1,250 KRW, up 29.67% from the previous day, starting around 9:41 AM. The company has recorded gains for five consecutive days since the 13th, including a sharp 12.43% rise on the 15th.
Daeyu Plus, an affiliate of the Daeyu Winia Group, announced on the same day that it signed a business agreement with Signet EV, a global electric vehicle charger manufacturer, to officially launch charger sales and charging services.

It holds over 50% market share in the U.S., the largest market for ultra-fast chargers. Daeyu Plus signed a business agreement covering sales of all Signet EV products, production of slow chargers, and maintenance services for Signet EV installed products.
