The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight on that day, there were 672 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 114,115.
This is an increase of 14 cases compared to the previous day (658 cases), marking four consecutive days of over 600 cases since the 15th (698 cases).
Usually, the number of tests temporarily decreases on weekends, leading to a drop in confirmed cases, but the spread continues due to sporadic infections across the country.
