Seven Eleven, KakaoPay Delivery Users... Buni Family Emoticon Giveaway
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Seven Eleven announced on the 18th that it will introduce emoticons featuring its character Buni Family and hold an event giving them away for free to customers using KakaoPay Delivery convenience store parcel services.
KakaoPay Delivery service allows users to make convenience store parcel reservations and payments all at once within KakaoTalk. After entering parcel information and making payment in the KakaoPay Delivery menu in KakaoTalk, customers can visit the nearest store with the receipt barcode and the parcel to be sent for drop-off.
The Buni Family consists of Seven Eleven’s AI payment robot character Buni, Barbara who resembles a triangular gimbap, and Kim Peng-gu the Parcel King symbolizing parcel services. The newly created Buni Family emoticons creatively combine convenience store product names with characters, such as Hungry Tuna Mayo and Cheer Up Yogurt, to humorously express everyday life.
