Muan-gun Begins Pfizer Vaccine Administration for Those Aged 75 and Older

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 16th that it opened a COVID-19 vaccination center at the Muan Comprehensive Sports Park Indoor Gymnasium on the 15th and began administering the Pfizer vaccine to seniors aged 75 and older.
On that day, the vaccination center administered vaccines to 509 out of 6,763 consenting seniors aged 75 and older. The county plans to expand vaccinations depending on vaccine supply.
The vaccination center is scheduled to operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and vaccination reservations and schedules can be confirmed at the town and township offices where the vaccinations were applied for.
The county is providing transportation services to help seniors with mobility difficulties visit the vaccination center safely and comfortably. Additionally, 55 dedicated personnel, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, and administrative staff, have been assigned to the vaccination center to ensure a smooth vaccination process for residents.

Governor Kim San stated, “We will do our best to ensure that seniors aged 75 and older who have difficulty moving do not face any inconvenience during vaccination,” and added, “We ask everyone to participate in vaccination without fail to overcome COVID-19 through herd immunity.”
