Uljin-gun Supplies Organic Farming Materials and Seeds to 251ha of Eco-Friendly Agriculture
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province (Governor Jeon Chan-geol) announced on the 16th that it will supply organic farming materials and green manure crop seeds to eco-friendly farms.
The organic farming materials provided to farms include pesticides, fungicides, and organic fertilizers listed in the organic catalog. The green manure seeds include Hairy Vetch, green barley, rye, and Astragalus sinicus.
This project covers a total supply area of 251 hectares with a budget of 188 million KRW. The supply of organic farming materials supports 125 hectares with 101 million KRW, green manure crop seeds support 51 hectares with 16 million KRW, and materials for field crop farms support 75 hectares with 71 million KRW.
