The 'Sinwol-Yeoui Underground Road' (formerly Seoul Jemulpo Tunnel), directly connecting Sinwol IC in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, with Yeouido-daero and Olympic-daero in Yeongdeungpo-gu, will open at midnight on the 16th. It has been 5 years and 6 months since construction began in October 2015. Using the Sinwol-Yeoui Underground Road reduces commuting time from Sinwol IC to Yeouido during peak hours from 32 minutes to 8 minutes, cutting 24 minutes. The toll fee is 2,400 won, and the speed limit is 80 km/h. The photo shows the interior of the Sinwol-Yeoui Underground Road on the 15th. / Reporter Kim Hyun-min kimhyun81@
