"What If My Idea Is Implemented in City Administration?" Miryang City Holds Life-Resonating Policy Idea Contest
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City, Gyeongnam Province, will hold the ‘Miryang City Life Empathy Policy Idea Contest’ from the 15th to May 14th.
This contest is being held for the first time to discover diverse and creative ideas from citizens and incorporate excellent proposals into city policies to promote continuous development of city administration. It is planned to be held twice a year (first and second half).
Anyone interested in city administration and who is a citizen of Miryang City is eligible to participate.
Ideas for feasible new projects or system improvement plans reflecting the characteristics of Miryang City, other life empathy policies, or ideas that can contribute to the development of city administration can be submitted in person or by mail to the Planning Officer of the Planning and Audit Division at City Hall.
The contest results will be announced in June after the final review by the Miryang City Excellent Proposal Review Committee. A total prize of 6 million KRW, including 2 million KRW for the grand prize, will be awarded.
